Development Pathway
From Concept to Manufacturing we can help
-
This is where your concept begins its transition into the physical world. Develop the initial engineering to prove core functions work in the real world.
To ensure your device is functionally viable, our team focuses on the following crucial steps during this phase:
Engineering & Software: Mechanical, Schematic Design and basic firmware development.
Parts Procurement: Quick Turn Prototyping and utilizing off-the-shelf parts for rapid testing.
Physical Build: Our engineers builds and test the breadboard to confirm functionality.
-
The Creative Device takes your validated concept and transitions it from a basic breadboard to a refined, fully functional custom prototype. The primary objective of this stage is to create a physical device that closely resembles your final manufactured good.
To achieve this milestone, our integrated engineering team executes the following critical steps:
Detailed Electrical Design: We design the custom architecture for your device, including custom PCB layout, routing, and Gerber generation.
Software & Firmware: We focus on robust Firmware/Software Development to ensure reliable, real-world operation.
Mechanical Enclosure Design: Our industrial designers and mechanical engineers utilize 3D CAD to design enclosures specifically tailored for your intended manufacturing processes.
Prototype Assembly & Bring-Up: We handle the physical fabrication and assembly, delivering 1-5 custom functional units for your evaluation.
-
Now, the focus shifts to preparing your device for the assembly line. The primary objective of this stage is to optimize your fully functional prototype design exclusively for mass production, reduce manufacturing costs, and finalize the supply chain.
To ensure a seamless transition to the factory floor, our team executes the following critical steps:
DFM Optimization: We finalize component selection (carefully considering EOL and lead times), adjust PCB layouts for automated assembly, and refine mechanical enclosures for high-volume processes like injection molding and die casting.
Assembly & Test Procedures: We create detailed assembly instructions and develop robust in-line manufacturing test procedures, including ICT fixtures.
Manufacturing Documentation: We deliver a finalized, comprehensive manufacturing package, which includes your Golden BOM, assembly drawings, and final fabrication files.
Tooling Coordination: We manage the seamless transition of your CAD data to manufacturing partners for final tooling creation.
